Ramadhan 1435 H

Marhaban ya Ramadhan..

This holy month started with such news from my daughter, she finally reached her puberty. Today she got her period for the first time. You know how it feels to me?
yeah. My kid is growing up. I'm getting old.

She handled the situation quite calmly, while I thought she would be panicking like when I was having mine.
I think she's got enough information, thank goodness.

So, she couldn't fast today, and I spent all day long becoming sleeping beauty. In fact I didn't get up until 5 pm and had my ashr pray in a rush, and hurrily cooked fried banana and fried peuyeum.
Perhaps that mess hasn't messy enough, the gas had to be ran off while I was cooking. OMG.

However, everything finally finished just in time, Kyara finished making sweet teas and I finished putting the fried things on the table when the azan came. Then we're all having our ifthar together. Alhamdulillah.
